Description
Beryllium copper is a master alloy, which our customers also use for the production of high-strength beryllium bronzes. It can also be used as an additive for degassing (deoxidizing) copper-containing alloys.
In addition to low additions of BeCu treated copper alloys this results in improved flow properties and a higher sharpness in the cast also have a greater toughness and corrosion protection.
Packaging
BeCu is delivered in small ingots weighing approximately 17x3x6 cm and a weight of 1.5-2.5 kg in stable wooden / MDF boxes (80x60x40xcm) with a typical net weight of 300-450 kg.
The boxes are easy to stack and can be easily moved with a forklift.
Storage
Like all metals and alloys for melting should BeCu be stored dry.
Availability
Generally copper beryllium is promptly available from stock.
