Description
Bismuth nitrate is a colourless crystalline subsatnce.
A typical use is for example the production of bismuth vanadate (Inorganic, yellow pigment with strong green, or reddish). This is increasingly seen since the mid-80s as a substitute for lead chromate and cadmium sulfide.
It is soluble in mixture of water and nitric acid.
