The quality corresponds, if nothing else is agreed, to EN 1982. It can be manufactured along individual specification or according to the various material numbers of EN 1982
Description
This is a golden yellow, cast or malleable copper alloy with aluminum. The aluminum content is usually between 9% and 14%. Other common alloying elements are iron, manganese and nickel.
It is characterized as a wear-resistant, resistant to sea water, corrosion and other wear and tear.
Packaging
This aluminum bronze comes banded on pallets in ingots of 10 kg with typ. dimension 415x70x50 mm.
Storage
Like all metals and alloys for melting should this copper-aluminum alloy being stored dry.
