Guanidine nitrate is available in different qualities.

As a rule Guanidine nitrate has a purity of ca. 98%.

 

Description


Guanidine nitrate is a  crystalline colorless solid, it is oxidising and explosive, has a high level of solubility in hot water and alcohol.

Guanine nitrate is usually used by our customers in the pyrotechnics and is also used as a starting material for the synthesis of nitroguanidine.

 

Packaging


Guanidine nitrate is packed in UN-approved paper bags with inner PE bags or on request in 1.000 kg big bags.

This marking has to be carried out according ADR/IMDG  regulations.

 

Storage


Guanidine nitrate must be stored in a special 5.1B security stock for oxidizing  hazardous substances, on a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
